For the first time in Bogotá, a month-long celebration of diverse musical genres will converge, creating a remarkable musical festival known as "Bogotá Viva la Música." This festival will bring together an array of sounds, including salsa, cumbia, merengue, ballad, reggae, and more, providing a vibrant and enriching experience for people of all ages. The festival will transform squares, parks, and stages into lively venues where young people, women, children, and adults can come together and enjoy the festivities.
Context
"Bogotá Viva la Música" will unite traditional festivals like Salsa and Colombia al Parque, which have already gained recognition in May, with new and innovative events. The lineup will feature the "Mundos de la Música" Festival at the Jorge Eliécer Gaitán Theater and the Fiesta District program, taking place in various venues such as Simón Bolívar Park, Media Torta Open Air Theater, El Parque Theater, and the Mobile Stage. This combination of established and fresh proposals promises to create an unforgettable celebration of music in the city.
Design process
We collaborated with the design team to create a visual proposal for Bogotá Vive la Música that flawlessly combines the four most prominent music festivals in the city.
Solution
We strategically merged the first letter of each festival with the most distinguished elements of each one, resulting in an attention-grabbing infographic illustration.
Each graphic element stands out independently, showcasing the magnificent and diverse colors of our traditions and avant-garde music for a 30-day period.
